Being the church in my marketplace.

Use your heads
as you live and work among outsiders. Don't miss a trick. Make the most of eve opportunity. Be gracious in your speech. The goal is to bring out the best in others in a conversation, not put them down, not cut them out.

Most people spend the majority of their week in their marketplace…somewhere between 60 and 80 hours. To not BE the CHURCH here would be failing to live out our faith in Christ in a major arena of our lives. So, what do we mean by being the church in my marketplace?
Well, we mean living out our love for Christ and living with integrity for Christ as an employee, an employer, as a customer, and as a student. Imagine if employers and employees interacted with one another the way Jesus would. Imagine if employees and employers conducted their business the way Jesus would.
Imagine if customers handled themselves with love and respect and patience as they interacted with business owners and workers. Imagine if students in their marketplace of school treated students and teachers with the love of Christ. How would this change the way we live in the marketplace?
WFC is passionate about being the church in the marketplace, as well as being marketplace churches and businesses.
