Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another— showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God's way.

Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us.
2 Tim 3:16-17 (The Message)

WFC holds to the belief that:
...there is one, true living God who is creator and sustainer of the universe, who is a loving and personal Being desiring personal relationship with us, and who is just and right in all His ways. To Him, we owe the highest love, reverence and obedience. He reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit with distinct personal attributes but without division of nature, essence or being.

...Jesus came to earth as the Son of God, fully divine and fully human, born of a virgin, tempted in every way that we are, lived a perfect life, died a sacrificial death on a cross for the sins of the world, rose to life after three days, ascended to heaven, and will return one day to take His people to heaven.

...the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin and unrighteousness, works in the life of each believer to produce godly character qualities, and demonstrates Himself in the life of the church. He comforts, instructs, and counsels Christ-followers in the ways of God through daily life by the Word of God—the Bible.

...the Bible is the record of God’s activity among men regarding His effort to restore humans into right relationship with Himself. It was written by men but inspired by God's Spirit and contains no error. It is truth provided for the believer as a tool to know the heart of God. It reveals the plan, purposes and will of God for all time.

...Individuals have an ultimate choice given by God—to choose to live seeing self as authority or God as authority. By our very nature, we choose self. The main cause of every sin (disobedience toward God) is the choice of pleasing self rather than God. Therefore, every person is in need of forgiveness, regardless of what they have or have not done. Because of God’s grace (His unmerited favor and love) toward mankind, Jesus died on the cross so that men and women might have that forgiveness and be restored into relationship with the one, true living God. Salvation comes to every person who trusts in Jesus Christ as Lord and believes that His life and death were enough for their forgiveness and restoration. It is not by man’s works, but by those of Jesus Christ.

...that the Church is the people of God commissioned to live out the love and forgiveness of God to everyone they encounter.
