Get to Know the WFC Pastoral Team

The pastoral team of WFC is ultimately responsible to oversee the equipping of the WFC family to BE THE CHURCH in daily life. “Oversee” does not mean domineer. However, in New Testament language it is the image of a shepherd caring for his sheep as he listens to the “Chief Shepherd” (1st Peter 5:1-4).

As our pastoral team oversees, they will love, walk with, care for, organize, and equip the “missionaries” of the church to LIVE SENT in daily life. The people of WFC as a whole are responsiblie for the ministries of WFC. The Pastoral Team simply serves as a "tool chest" of sorts, gatorade suppliers as it were, to help resource and refresh and support the daily ministries of the WFC family.

Furthermore, the pastoral team is made up of fellow travelers who journey alongside those who are walking on spiritual journey with Jesus, growing and being shaped together with them.

Our pastoral team includes:

Josh Taylor

_pastor to the marketplace

email Josh

Josh and Kelly Taylor were married in October of 2000. Josh planned ahead of time for their wedding to be held in the year 2000 so he would always remember how long they've been married and not get in trouble. They have two beautiful girls, Morgan (born June 28th, 2002) and Cameron (born April 21st, 2005).

Josh grew up in Baton Rouge, LA and Kelly in Eustis, FL. Josh also serves as General Manager of HOUSE BLEND CAFE. Visit the cafe's website by clicking here. View a shortvideo about HOUSE BLEND CAFE by clicking here.

Josh and Kelly are passionate about unleashing people to be the church in their marketplace setting and to realize that everyone is equally called to live on mission for Christ, not just the pastoral team. In fact, everyone else is in better position to love those outside the church and it's the pastoral team's role to equip the church with what they need on the field, like a towel or water boy.

Josh's Likes_hanging out with the family, daddy daughter dates, watching movies, and doing life together with friends and neighbors.

Josh Dislikes_people who load toilet paper so that it hangs from the back. It's just not tolerated. Intense flogging for anyone caught doing it.

He and Jennifer believe that their "musts" in life are to give themselves away to their kids, their family, their friends and neighbors, and their community. Jason hopes to be an encourager and equipper for the WFC family as well as other church leaders to exist to be the church in their daily activity and influence others to do the same. He also hopes to grow along with the WFC family as a cultural-collision point, influencing the culture around us to follow Jesus, live the way we were made to live, and be the church in the marketplace and around the world.

Michael Anderson

_resident to UCF

email Michael

Michael and his family have been single for 25 years, and are looking forward to marriage and family!

Michael grew up in Morristown, TN just outside of the glorious city of Knoxville, TN where he attended The University of Tennessee. He graduated in 2005 from UTK with a BA in Communication. Michael then moved to Orlando right after graduation to help run a local youth ministry. He served as the Middle School Director and campus youth pastor for the last few years prior to becoming a resident pastor with WFC in August ’07.

Michael loves connecting with people (especially college & young adults), walking together with them, and giving himself away to them for Christ. He wants to encourage young adults and college students in the community to begin to grasp how wide, and deep, and high the love of Christ is for them. In doing this, Michael wants them to begin to understand how loved they are by our Savior and dream the dreams that Christ has set in each of their hearts. In doing this they will take ownership of these dreams because of Love to become world-changers for the Kingdom of Christ. Michael believes that how the world views the Gospel of Christ will largely be based on how his generation displays it to the world.

Michael likes_anything orange (GO VOLS!!!), soccer, sports, laughing, working out
Michael dislikes_folding clothes, smacking gum, his excessive sweating (Florida is HOT!)
